SSC CGL Qualification 2020
SSC CGL Exam Qualification can be classified into 4 main categories. 3 SSC CGL Posts need specific qualification while all the other posts have common qualification, that is, Bachelor’s degree from any field.
Qualification for Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer:
Bachelor’s Degree from Recognised University along with: (Plus)
- Chartered Accountant (or)
- Cost & Management Accountant (or)
- Company Secretary (or)
- Masters in Commerce (or)
- Masters in Business Studies (or)
- Masters in Business Administration (field of Finance) (or)
- Masters in Business Economics
Qualification for Junior Statistical Officer:
- Bachelor‟s Degree from recognized university in any subject with at least 60% Marks in Maths at 12th standard level
OR
- Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Qualification for Statistical Investigator Grade-II :
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2020
SSC CGL Exam is conducted in 4 stages. Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4. You need to qualify all the 4 stages and come in SSC CGL Final merit list to get Class 2 / Class 3 job in Central government ministries, departments and organisations.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
Tier 1 Exam is 200 Marks Exam which consists of Questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English (25 each)
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier 2 Consists of 4 papers of 200 marks of each. Out of these 4 papers, only first 2 papers are compulsory for all posts (Quantitative Aptitude and English)
SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier 3 is a Descriptive Paper of 100 Marks which consists of Essay and Letter writing. Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 marks are considered for Merit list.
