Understanding various stages of SSC CGL Exam

You should be aware that the SSC CGL Tier I examination is a multiple choice objective exam (Computer Based Test) so that does not mean that you will take this stage of examination lightly. Being screening test, maximum competition is present in Tier 1 of SSC CGL Exam.

You have to study Maths, English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness for Tier 1 Exam, which will be of total 200 marks. iF you want to score 170+ marks, you have to follow SSC CGL Tier 1 preparation strategy provided by SSC CGL 2018 Toppers.

Now, you know that the Combined Graduate level exam is conducted by Staff selection commission and there are four stages of the examination and you must qualify each stage depending upon the different posts of the examination. Tier I and Tier II examination is mandatory for all the posts, while the Tier III and Tier IV should be attempted by those aspirants who are preparing for a particular posts.

The Tier 2 examination is compulsory for all the posts and for tier II examination the mode of examination is online and the time allotted for each paper is 60 minutes or 1 hour and there will be four papers for the tier II exam.

The SSC CGL Tier 3 examination is the descriptive paper and the mode of examination is offline where it is pen and paper based examination. The time allotted for the tier III exam is 60 minutes or 1 hour and the language of the examination is English or hindi. The tier III paper includes:
