Wrong Attempt (Maximum) | 4-5 Questions |
Our Final Score | 186-5=181 Marks |
4. You have to score 30/32 Correct in Reasoning Section (At Any Cost!)
Reasoning section of AFCAT Exam is the easiest and topic with highest weightage in AFCAT Exam. So, its your duty to score minimum 30 correct questions out of 32 which is practically possible. Check AFCAT Preparation Strategy article where we have provided exact books and sources to follow for AFCAT Reasoning section.
5. No need to Waste Too Much Time on Current Affairs (Which many Aspirants Do!)
25 Questions are asked from General Knowledge Section (Awareness) which mainly contain static questions from history, geography, economy, science, etc. Only 5-6 questions are asked from current affairs section. But it is generally seen that aspirants waste their maximum time in reading current affairs for AFCAT Exam. You are a graduate and must have the maturity to choose topics of high weightage and allocate maximum time to those topics.
I do not want to say that don’t study current affairs. But you must start current affairs study after completing the core subjects like reasoning, maths and English (which will help you to clear cut off marks!)
6. Don't Waste Even a Rupee on Coaching! (Self Preparation Matters a lot)
Please do not spend your money on coaching. Watch AFCAT preparation articles on our website which are free of cost. I will guide you in each and every stage of AFCAT Exam. You just need to be self-enlightened to study from the sources given in AFCAT Strategy.
We will soon start with free AFCAT Test Series so that you could practice the subjects which you are studing on a daily basis.
7. The only thing that can save you is Revision!
Revision is the key to sucess. You need to cover the AFCAT Syllabus as early as possible and revise it atleast once before that actual AFCAT exam so that you could recall each and every thing you have studied.
8. Try to Score Maximum Marks in Written exam Only! (Don't rely on AFSB)
Marks obtained in AFSB Interview are not in our control. But written exam marks are. Moreover, AFCAT Exam pattern is also predictable. So, try to score maximum marks in AFCAT written exam itself, so that your chances of clearing the AFCAT Merit list becomes high!
9. SSB Interview is not an exam, its a way of Life!
Most of the aspirants fail in SSB Interview because they start its preparation after clearing the AFCAT written exam. But you must know that SSB is not an exam. Its a way of life. Whatever things you are going on a regular basis gets reflected in the SSB Interview. So, its recommended to bring changes and implement Officer like Qualities at grassroot level (in your day to day life). And you can prepare for AFSB with self preparation. Only thing which you need is guidance from Successful aspirants, which has also being made available free of cost.
