UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Exam is conducted in 3 stages:
- Written Examination (Objective + Descriptive Paper)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Test

(i) UPSC CAPF Written Exam: The written exam is generally conducted in the month of August which comprises of two papers, i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II (Currently dates are different due to COVID-19 Outbreak)
Paper-I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks which is an objective type paper in which the questions will be asked in English as well as Hindi.
Paper-II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks It is a Descriptive Paper comprising of Precis Writing, Comprehension, and other communications/language skills (To be answered in English Only except Essay)

CAPF Educational Qualification
Bachelors Degree from any field (Arts, Science, Commerce, Technical) from any recognized university is must to apply for UPSC CAPF Exam.
Aspirants can give UPSC CAPF in Last Year of their graduation. But after qualifying all stages of exam, you need to submit proof of Passing the Final Examination.
