Age Limit for SBI PO 2020 Exam is 21 to 30 years as on April 1, 2020. It means that you must be between Age Limit of 21 to 30 years on April 1, 2020. Now, we will see the exact age limit of SBI PO Exam in which your birth Date must lie to be eligibile for upcoming SBI PO exams:

  • SBI PO Age Limit 2020: Candidate must be born not earlier than 02.04.1990 and not later than 01.04.2000
  • SBI PO Age Limit 2021: Candidate must be born not earlier than 02.04.1991 and not later than 01.04.2001
  • SBI PO Age Limit 2022: Candidate must be born not earlier than 02.04.1992 and not later than 01.04.2002
  • SBI PO Age Limit 2023: Candidate must be born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2003

If you belong to particular category like OBC, SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, SSC Officers, PWD, etc than you will get relaxation in SBI PO Exam Age Limit. Let us analyze each cas one by one:

Educational Qualification for SBI PO Exam

If you want to apply for SBI PO Exam, then you must have minimum 60% Marks in your Graduation. And if you belong to any of the categories like SC/ST/PwD, then you need minimum 55% Marks in Graduation.


Your marks will not be rounded up to calculate aggregate marks. For E.g: if you have 59.99% marks in graduation, it will not be treated as 60% and same is the case with 54.99%

Number of Attempts for SBI PO Exam

SBI PO Exam Number of Attempts: 04 (General Category Candidate)

General Category Candidate can give only 4 attempts for SBI PO exam that too between age limit of 21 to 30 Years. It is not that you can give any number of attempts between this age limit. But what about the SBI PO Exam Attempts for OBC, SC/ST, PWD?

Number of attempts for aspirants belonging to OBC, SC/ST and PWD category are much higher than general category candidates.

Example 1: If you belong to SC Category, then you can give Unlimited Attempts of SSC CGL Exam upto 35 Years of Age

Example 2: If you belong to OBC Category (Non-Creamy Layer), then you can give 7 Attempts SSC CGL Exam upto 33 Years of Age.

Example 3: If you belong to OBC (Creamy Layer), then you will be treated as General Category Candidate. Means you can give only 4 attempts upto age of 30 years of age.

(If you are a OBC Candidate, then you need to issue an national level Non-Creamy Layer certificate to avail the benefits of OBC Category)


And for SC/ST Category, there is no such criteria at all!
